Homebound Delivery Program

Delivers supplemental, nutritious food to homebound clients

Because some of our clients have health, age or mobility issues which keep them homebound, we are proud to offer our Homebound Delivery Program, a partnership between Sedona Community Food Bank (SCFB) and Verde Valley Caregivers Coalition. Food is delivered once a month to 25 to 30 homebound clients in Sedona and Village of Oak Creek. The food provided includes crucial non-perishable foods as well as fresh baked goods and produce. Clients are able to fill out a form indicating food preferences and dietary needs.

SCFB volunteers pack the bags volunteers from Verde Valley Caregivers Coalition deliver the bags. Clients benefit not only from receiving supplemental food, they also benefit from seeing a friendly volunteer who delivers their food. A caring visitor can make a big difference in the day of someone who is homebound.
